Shipping prices

Ok, just deleted my rant and decided to start over :)
I don't like being grumpy about prices and things.
I will just look at it as something a buyer ( someone who does know the inner workings of a mail order business) doesn't know and move on :)

Swore I was done with the salon biz but....

took a job at a new salon and had an awesome day!
I wasn't clock watching and hating every minute of it.
Smart Styles sucked, let's be honest.
Trendz, crazy people. Honestly, how can you just not pay an employee.
If I had any energy left, I would sue for the wages I did not receive for months.
I would rather just move on I guess.
Anyway, love the new salon. Classic rock all day, relaxed atmosphere, fun people to work with.
After so many bad salons, I am afraid to say I think I have finally found the one I can be happy to go to work for. Don't want to jinx it :)
I will never work for corporate again. No amount of money is worth the stress of that lifestyle. Not for me anyway.
I am up at 2 am because I had to pee and then the dogs wouldn't go back to bed. I know they know it wasn't time to get up. So I feed them way early, it is Thanks Giving for them too I guess.
Now they will be starving by noon.
Keeping it simple this year.
No big meal that will keep me chained in the kitchen for hours.
If I never smell another turkey baking, I will be fine with that.
Happy Thanks Giving!!!

If you like caramel, try it with the caramel flavored one! So yummy!

BAILEY'S IRISH CREAM FUDGE

1. In a very large bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips, semisweet chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, vanilla extract, Irish Cream, and nuts (if you are adding them). Set this mixture aside.
2. Line a 10 X 15 baking pan with foil and spread lightly with butter.
3. In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, evaporated milk, and butter. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat and cook slowly, stirring constantly for about 10 minutes.
4. Pour the milk mixture into the the chocolate chip mixture. Stir slowly by hand to combine. It is very important to do this by hand and NOT use any kind of mixer.

Sunday 6am

Let the dogs out this morning to a scene right out of a Horror movie :) Bright moon, fog twisting around the trees. Half expected a loup garou to step out of the shadows :D
I am seldom creeped out anymore but that kinda gave me goosebumps and I think the dogs sensed it because they wasted no time getting back in the house :)

Part of what I loved about this place was the isolation. It is a pain in the butt drive into town if I happen to run out of dog food or toilet paper tho :)
I am a perfect candidate for being dropped on a dessert island tho. I am more than ok with my own company :)
